Nancy De Los Santos is available to present the documentary The Bronze Screen: 100 Years of the Latino Image in Hollywood Cinema along with an update of the Latino image in recent movies. This two hour thought-provoking presentation is an excellent addition to Hispanic Heritage Month events, or any convention, conference, or meeting. She is also available for motivational speeches for youth and women’s groups, having presented at a number of schools and luncheons.
Ms. De Los Santos teaches a course based on the documentary for Chicano Studies and the Radio, Television, and Film Departments at Cal State, Fullerton every Spring Semester. The Bronze Screen: Latinos in Film presents the history of the Latino Image in an historical context.

Come hear filmmaker Nancy De Los Santos: 100 Years of the Latino Image in Hollywood Cinema, which she co-wrote and co-produced for HBO (you will have an opportunity to view the documentary on Monday, October 8, or Tuesday, October 9). De Los Santos, who started her career in Chicago as producer for Siskel and Ebert’s At the Movies, also served as associate producer for the feature films Selena, starring Jennifer Lopez and Edward James Olmos, and Mi Familia, starring Jimmy Smits. Her documentary Lalo Guerrero: The Original Chicano, which aired on PBS, won the 2007 Imagen Award for best documentary. |
